If Renfrew Hydro doesn't mail me my bill do I still have to pay it?

Yes, it’s your responsibility to keep your account current. You have the following options available to pay your bill:

  • Pre-authorized Debit: Sign-up today to automatically pay your bills on time, every time – securely from your bank. 

  • Online banking

  • Telephone banking

  • In person at most financial institutions in Canada

Remember to have your 10-digit Renfrew Hydro account number handy. During a postal service disruption, please don’t mail your payments to Renfrew Hydro as it may not reach us by the due date. Late payments may be incurred for unpaid balances. If you’re having difficulty making bill payments, please contact us. We’re here to help.

How can I find out my balance and due date, if I don't receive my bill in the mail?

There are a number of ways you can access your statements and manage your account in the event of a postal service disruption:


1. Register and log in to Customer Connect to view your account balance, due date and payment history.

2. Sign up for Paperless Billing to receive an email notification when a new bill is delivered.  You’ll be able to view the account balance and due date.

3. Call the office at 613-432-4884 for your account balance. 

4. Sign up for Pre-authorized Debit and you can automatically pay bills on time, every time – securely from your bank. 

5. Email us at info@renfrewhydro.com. We’ll be happy to provide your account balance.
