MicroFIT

The micro Feed-In-Tariff (microFIT) program is for residents and businesses interested in installing renewable electricity generation projects that are 10 kilowatts or less in size.

PROCESS

When applying to participate in the microFIT Program, applicants should be
aware of several key steps before planning for the development of a project
and submitting an application.  Most importantly, applicants are solely
responsible for monitoring the status of their application carefully through
their My microFIT homepage and ensuring they meet all deadlines.

 

The microFIT rules provide detailed information about the requirements at
each step in the process.

The Feed-in-Tariff (FIT)

The Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) program is for renewable generation projects larger than 10 kilowatts.
 

Please Note: There may be constraints in Ontario Hydro's grid system which
prevent you from connecting your project to the grid.  Accordingly,
commencement of construction, prior to all required approvals, is at your
own risk.
